Welcome

Over the recent months I have been putting together my own team for 2009 but at this stage the funding has fallen short and it is unlikely that I will be on the grid for the first round, keep coming back for the latest news!

Teknic off-road day!

30-09-2008

On Monday I took my J&L Aprilia for some off-road training, along with Chris Hayes the CEO of Teknic and Dominic Clifford the UK manager who both showed me the way and proved that road tyres are not the best way to race through the woods! Good crack and only 1 crash.

Motard Mania!

30-09-2008

What a long weekend! On Friday I spent a few hours at Bruntingthorpe proving ground on my J&L Aprilia for some last minute preparation before my first Aprilia Challenge race at Sportcity, also testing out the latest helmet and goggles from FOX. Saturday was a really long day, it started at 4.30am and my last race was at 7pm but it was well worth the effort, I had 4 races and my goal was to break the top ten and in the final race I was running 9th until a small crash in the off road section dropped me to 11th. Good fun was had all round and thanks to Paul Iddon, Dean Clewley and Charles Reynolds for getting the J&L Aprilia prepared for racing.

Racing!

26-09-2008

On Saturday I am competing in the Aprilia SXV challenge race which will be run along side the British Supermoto championship races at Sportcity in Manchester. My good sponsors, J&L Motorcycles in Carlisle and Aprilia UK have put this deal together and I can't wait to get on track tomorrow morning, look out for number 20!

Back on a bike!

17-09-2008

I finally got a bike fix today, I had a quick blast on a Superbike and a Supersport machine at Mallory Park. A big thank you to a certain person!

Filling Time

14-09-2008

Another weekend without racing but I still managed to get to Croft on Saturday and watch the new qualifying format which was pretty exciting, also hooked up with my mechanics and the supporters from Kendal who were cheering on my brother. I should have some news soon, I have been asked to race in a one off supermoto race and I can't wait for it all to be confirmed.

Wet weather riding

05-09-2008

I have been cycling every day this week and the heavens opened as soon as I wheeled my bike out of the garage, thankfully I have had lots of practice in the BSB championship. This weekend I will be at Donington Park to give my brother some support in the WSBK championship, he was looking strong today in the wet and it looks like the rain is here to stay.

Official statement from Co-ordit Racing Team:

01-09-2008

Pete Bradshaw, Team Principle: "It is with great regret that Co-ordit
Racing Team will be withdrawing from the 2008 Bennetts British
Superbike Championship. With the down-turn in the economy I have had
to make the reluctant decision to end the sponsorship to safe guard
funds for what is predicted to be a hard time in our business sector.
The team will now try and secure funding so that we can return as
quickly as possible. Our thanks go out to all those sponsors who have
helped and assisted with the team so far together with the staff at
MSVR and Rob Mac Racing."

Cadwell Park

22-08-2008

I am just getting ready to leave for the biggest BSB weekend of the year, the bank holiday meeting at Cadwell Park will attract around 40,000 spectators over the 3 days and the new qualifying format on Sunday should be even more exciting for the fans. As usual I will be giving my all in every session on the Co-ordit R1!
