Yesterday I entered the Desford 10k running race and finished in 74th place, there was around 500 entries and I was hoping for a top 50 finish but after a week of running and gym work I didn't have the legs towards the end of the race and had to slow my pace right down. After starting the race at sub 6 minute miles I was confident that I could finish in around 36 minutes but at 9kms I had to stop due to stomach cramp but walked to the line in 38 minutes. The second annual Chris Jones Riders Fund dinner was held last weekend, 6th December at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.
